The media and people in general can often not get enough of everything that has to do with sex - for the good and especially for the evil.
In these times it is very much about sexual abuse of women. ..and since there undoubtedly were (and are) many violations and abuses committed, there are probably many more naughty stories on the way ..
But what about those women who, due to "lack of attractiveness", experience few or no sexual offenses but in return are mocked, overseen and ignored because of their appearance, regardless of their human, professional and / or intellectual qualities - precisely because they are women?
Perhaps here the worst side of sexism becomes obvious, where it comes to, that women so much more than men are measured and valued because of their appearance.
Men, on the other hand, are “allowed” to be ugly, as long as they are successful - and I can think of really many of them. They are not for laughs but just a great inspiration for their "ugly" peers.
But women? There must exist some successful female comedians, researchers, politicians and artists who are/were decidedly ugly women. I just can not remember any of them.
